Yes. You have the right to transfer your mayor’s court case to the Franklin County Municipal Court at any time for any reason.

However, there may be some advantages, to having your case heard in the Grove City Mayor’s Court. For example, a hearing in a mayor’s court is generally more informal and may be more conveniently located near your home or work than the Franklin County Municipal Court.

There may also be strategic advantages to having your case heard in Grove City. There are both pros and cons to having your case heard in the the Mayor’s Court, depending on your specific situation.
