What Does Columbus CTC 2133.01(A)(1)(a) say?
Columbus City Code 2133.01 – the Columbus OVI code – states:
2133.01 – Operating a vehicle under the influence
“(A)(1) No person shall operate any vehicle * * * within this City, if, at the time of the operation, any of the following apply:
(a) The person is under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse, or a combination of them.”
The Columbus code is essentially identical to the Ohio statute.
What are the Penalties for a Conviction Under Columbus CTC 2133.01(A)(1)(a)?
The penalties for a first offense OVI conviction under Columbus City Code 2133.01(A)(1)(a) are the same as that of a first offense OVI conviction under the Ohio statute.
